(based on two people sharing)
Price includes: Arrival / Departure transfers + tour in an air-conditioned vehicle - Accommodation on full Board basis (Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast) during the entire programme - Jeep services in Yala National Parks+ Whale Watching excursions by boat - All entrance fees, hotel tipping and portage - Services of a local Tour Leader - All taxes.
The price does not include: Visas*, Air Line tickets, Drinks, Bottled Water, Alcohol, laundry, telephone calls and Personal Tipping to Driver and Guide, Yala Trackers, Boat crew etc... (a charge of $50 per person will come into effect on Chrsitmas eve and New Year's Eve)
Reductions for larger groups: Price per person US$1,850 (3-4 persons), US$1,750 (5-7 persons)
*Sri Lanka has introduced a tourist visa that must be obtained in advance from 1st January 2012. These are in the form of Electronic Travel Authorization obtainable on-line for US$50 per person.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Colombo / Mirissa
Met by Baurs representative upon arrival at Bandaranayake International Airport and transfer direct to Mirissa
Lunch & Dinner
Overnight: Paradise Beach Hotel in Mirissa
Day 2 - Mirissa
In the morning we will make our way to the fishing port of Mirissa and board a whale watching vessel (taking with us our picnic breakfast) for 4 to 5 hour excursion in search of Blue Whales and Pelagic Birds
Afternoon Birding around local areas

Day 3 - Mirissa

Day 5 - Mirissa - Tissamaharama
After breakfast we will proceed to Tissamaharama enroute visting Kalamatiya Bird Sanctuary

Overnight stay at Priyankara Hotel in Tissa
Day 6 - Tissamaharama
After breakfast we will take a full day jeep safari looking for the mammals and many endemic birds found in Yala National Park (taking our with picnic lunch along with us).

Day 7 - Tissamaharama
After breakfast we will take another jeep safari in Yala National Park (taking our with picnic lunch along with us).
The afternoon will be spent birding around Tissa Tanks

Day 8 - Tissamaharama - Embilipitiya - Katunayaka
After breakfast proceed to a hotel near the Airport going via Embilipitiya where we will lunch at Nivahana Udawalawe Resturant
Dinner at Ramada Hotel Katunayaka - depending on departure time we will have a room to rest and change or overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Departure
We will proceed to airport in time for departure
